Katie Ojanen is the founder, owner, and sole baker of The Scandinavian Bread Company. After graduating from Emerson College in 1990 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, she went on to work for a number of broadcast positions including, The Telegram and Gazette, and WBZ News Boston. Although she loved her work in communications, when her first child was born in 2002 she searched for another career path that would tie into her ethnic descent, and thus The Scandinavian Bread Company was born.
